PLEASE let me EXPLAIN how good this chippy is. Once owned by Pauline Hanson, Marsden’s Seafood is known to be South East Queenslands best fish and chip shop. A hidden Ipswich gem, but don’t tell anyone! The new owners are super friendly and they’ve retained the old school vibe from when Pauline had it in ‘87-‘97.

Service was friendly, fast and efficient. The food was prepared quickly and cooked almost perfectly. The place is nice and clean and doesn't have a fishy smell. Highly recommend this place.

This seafood shop is easily the best fish & chip shop in Ipswich. The crumbed cod is always beautifully cooked, the crumb mix is light & delicious. Our grandson who is a great connoisseur of calarmari along the east coast of Qld, swears that "they easily make the best calamari ever". High words of praise & run by two lovely people who give great service.

A proper old-school fish and chip shop — the kind they just don’t make anymore. Great service, crispy batter, and chips that actually taste like childhood Friday nights. Flash a polite smile and you might mysteriously find an extra scoop of chips sneaking into the bag. Absolute legends.

The only place to go for Fish n Chips.. Love their Dagwood Dogs, fish bites, calamari, prawn cutlets and yummo hamburgers. Highly recommended still after 12 years

Been going here my whole life. Best fish and chips I’ve had! Burgers are really good and affordable. Definitely recommend
